I combined my Capstone Senior class with my UX Design class by creating a website where I addressed issues within the Information Technology department at George Mason University. Many students received an Honor Code Violation and so many received an automatic fail or were expelled from George Mason. I proposed to address why the Information Technology department was a huge problem and why so many students either dropped out or pursued a different major. I created a survey on surveymonkey.com and 92 students were surveyed. The goal for me was to research on Project-Based Learning and how students learn by doing instead of studying or reading books. I worked on my Capstone Senior project in Fall 2017-Fall 2018 (a year) and I combined my research by creating a website in my UX Design class. In my UX Design class, I did a Competitive Analysis, User Flow, Sitemap, and more. I worked on the UX part and its entirety in the fall semester of 2018.
