MY STORY
Hi,
My name is Bianca, a graphic designer and visual designer who creates business suites, marketing ads, and design mockups of websites and mobile. I focus on making consistency in my designs.
I have designed branding identities such as business cards, envelopes, letterheads, crack-n-peel, and marketing sheets. I have redesigned a government kids' website and developed flyers, book covers, and infographics.
My goal is to specialize in UI/UX design because I like its subjectivity and objectivity. I am mainly working on understanding how UX design works by learning design thinking. I enjoy doing research on how personas work. I am self-teaching myself UX design and will gradually move in the direction of UX as soon as I understand how to implement UI/UX design.

The goal for this school project was to produce a functioning prototype/website using usability, user experience, and visual design industry standards for a government or association website.

Plynth Homes Standards Guide
As part of my web design minor, I had to take a Corporate Branding course. I was assigned to create a Business Suite, Marketing Sheet, logos, and a Graphic Standards Guide in InDesign and Illustrator.

The Assistive Technology Corporate Campaign school project was about searching for a new logo, stationery package, and promotional/informational brochure.

Catoctin Hollow Creek New Homes Guide
​
For this school project, the goal was to visit new development homes to establish ideas for my project. I created a front and back development marketing sheet that consists of a home, amenities, floor plan, site map, and an area map.

Visual Designs of Typography
​
These school projects were done in 2017 and so as of this year, I decided to rework my designs from my typography class to advance my typography skills. The Type Anatomy project is a project that consists of 40 terms of type anatomy.

EXPERIENCE
During the spring of 2018, I interned at WETA Public Television and Classical Music for Greater Washington in the Corporate Marketing department.

I redesigned the local corporate marketing sales deck template, designed a one-sheet for selling a Classical WETA package, designed a one-sheet national sponsorship for "Royal Wedding Watch," created an Excel spreadsheet that tracks national sales over multiple years, and assisted National Productions by customizing an Excel spreadsheet in preparation for a production meeting.
